CARLO BIAGINI

He graduated with honours in Civil Engineering (Building section) from the University of Florence in 1989 and is registered with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Arezzo. In 1996 he obtained a PhD in Building and Territorial Engineering from the University of Bologna. Since 1999 he has been a university researcher in the ICAR17/Drawing scientific field, first at the Department of Civil Engineering and, since 2013, at the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence, teaching and researching in Representation, Architectural Survey and Building Information Modeling. Since 2014 he has headed the Building Information Modeling Laboratory (LIA-BIM) of the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence. Since 2015 he has been Associate Professor of Drawing. Since 2018 he has been a member of the UNI committee UNI/CT 033/GL 05 "Coding of construction products and processes" (BIM). Since 2018 he has coordinated the second-level Master's programme "BIM for the management of collaborative design processes in new and existing buildings" at the University of Florence. In 2019 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as full professor. He was appointed Director of the Department of Architectural Sciences and Techniques at the Catholic University "Our Lady of Good Counsel" in Tirana, Albania. From November 2019 to June 2022 he was President of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Arezzo. PIERO BRACCIALI

He graduated with honours in Civil Engineering (Building section) from the University of Florence in 1989 and is registered with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Arezzo. Since 1990 he has worked as a freelance professional in structural design. Since 1992, in partnership with Carlo Biagini, he has secured major commissions across the various fields of civil engineering, from architectural and structural design to transport infrastructure and water treatment networks, working for both private and public clients. Over the years his expertise has expanded considerably into project management, works supervision and contract management of civil construction for industrial groups of national and international standing. He has coordinated international design teams, including GMP Hamburg, Favero&Milan of Venice, Studio Canali of Parma and GEZA Architettura of Udine. From 1997 to 1999 he was a consultant to the Municipality of Monterchi (AR) for the Environmental Impact Assessment of the route of the E78 "Due Mari" expressway. From 2006 to 2012 he was President of INARSIND of the Province of Arezzo (Union of Freelance Engineers and Architects). In 2009 he took part in the damage assessment, emergency response and building safety inspections organised by the Civil Protection in the Province of L'Aquila after the earthquake. He has served, and still serves, on building and planning commissions in several municipalities of the Province of Arezzo.

PIETRO PAGLIARDINI

He graduated with honours in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1977 and registered with the Order of Architects of the Province of Arezzo the following year. Until 1979 he worked with Eng. Giulio Rupi of Arezzo, and from 1980 to 2010 he practised as a freelance professional in partnership with him. The practice worked mainly in social housing, in PEEP and private areas, for the ACLI Consortium of Arezzo and other companies. He designed many production facilities for consortia of industrial, craft, office and commercial companies in PIP and private areas: 20 goldsmith companies in Arezzo, 22 companies in the PIP of Capannori (LU) and 19 more in other production areas of Arezzo, including Graziella Group, Grafiche Badiali, Farinex, Faor, Monnalisa and the new CNA headquarters. In 1994, on behalf of Salini Costruzioni of Rome and Carena S.p.A. (Genoa), he acted as group leader, building works designer and coordinator of specialists for the design refinements of the contract for the Valdarno Hospital in Montevarchi (AR) and the Val di Chiana Hospital in Montepulciano (SI). His most significant projects since 2000 include 300 homes for an integrated plan in Arezzo and 85 in Florence, the new 4,000 m² indoor swimming facility in Arezzo built through project financing (one of the first in Italy), a 50-bed nursing home in Arezzo and the automated warehouse of Monnalisa S.p.A. He served for 15 years as a Councillor of the Order of Architects and sat on the Building and Planning Commissions of Arezzo.

ALESSANDRO FEI

He graduated in Civil Engineering (Structures section) from the University of Florence in 2000 with a thesis on the survey and the architectural and structural restoration of the ancient Monastery of Santa Maria Novella in Arezzo; in the same year he qualified as a professional engineer and registered with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Arezzo. Since then he has practised in the field of civil construction, working on a permanent basis with the Biagini-Bracciali engineering practice. In 2002 he completed the 120-hour training course for "safety coordinator during design and execution of works" organised by the Order of Engineers of the Province of Arezzo under Legislative Decree 494/96, obtaining the relevant qualification, and he has since regularly attended the 40-hour refresher courses required by Legislative Decree 81/08. Over the years he has steadily consolidated and broadened his expertise in the design, works supervision and testing of structures and in safety coordination, taking part in all of the practice's most significant projects. These include the extension of the Arezzo Business and Conference Centre, the new swimming facility in Arezzo and the renovation of the PRADA plants in Scandicci and Torgiano.

FRANCESCO MISURI

He graduated with honours in Architecture from the University of Florence in 2001 with a thesis on the architectural restoration and structural consolidation of Cortona Cathedral. In 2002 he qualified as a professional architect and registered with the Order of Architects of the Province of Arezzo. From then until the end of 2003 he worked with the Municipality of Arezzo on the drafting of the city's new Structural Plan. In 2003 he began working as a freelance professional alongside the Biagini-Bracciali engineering practice, serving as inspection assistant on the construction site of the new Courthouse of Arezzo until 2006. In the same years he established a permanent collaboration with the practice, working in project management on major private and public works. In 2004 he completed the 120-hour training course for "safety coordinator during design and execution of works" organised by the Order of Architects of the Province of Arezzo under Legislative Decree 494/96, obtaining the relevant qualification, and has since regularly attended the 40-hour refresher courses required by Legislative Decree 81/08. Over the years his expertise has expanded into works supervision, contract accounting and safety coordination for industrial building projects for leading fashion houses, including the new PRADA headquarters in Valvigna, Terranuova Bracciolini (AR), the new Furla hub in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (FI), the new GUCCI logistics hub in Campi Bisenzio and the new PRADA logistics complex in Levanella.
